What we do

The physical environment of Pinocchio has been designed to ensure effective use of space with a total of five rooms: two Nurseries, Tiny Tots, Toddlers and Preschool. The Centre also has three playgrounds to allow for age and developmentally appropriate groupings for outdoor play.

Our program

We are committed to a stimulating, caring and innovative learning environment where children feel safe and valued.

Individual, small and whole group documentation provides the basis for programs, while spontaneous learning experiences offer depth and extend children's learning and development in all areas.

The program includes weekly local excursions to promote a physically active life style, while the cooking program encourages healthy eating habits and perhaps a budding chef or two!

Throughout the year children will have opportunities to attend more adventurous excursions, organised to support the learning program.  Visitors are also invited to the centre for special performances.

We value parent participation in the learning program and encourage our families to share their culture and special talents.

What we provide

Simple, everyday favourite meals are prepared daily using fresh produce that are not only delicious but also nutritious! Hot meals are prepared for the younger children, while the preschoolers enjoy a variety of sandwiches, wraps and rolls in preparation for their transition to school.

Morning and afternoon tea are also provided everyday and include fresh fruit and veggies. The children are offered either milk or water during meal times and water is available throughout the day.

Sun cream is applied throughout the day however we suggest parents slip, slop, slap at home for the morning outdoor program. And remember, the best form sun protection also includes a good hat and appropriate clothing, particularly in the warmer months.

Fee Structure

$88/$90 per day
$415/$425 per week
Fee payments can be made by cash, cheque, EFTPOS or direct debit. A deposit of two weeks fee will be taken to confirm your booking which will be used as payment for the first two weeks of care. Fees must be paid in advance for the care you are about to use.
